Soho House Chicago

Chicago, IL

Rehabilitated and reopened in 2014, this former belt factory building in the heart of the West Loop has gained new life as a 120,000 square foot private members club with 40 guest rooms, spa, boxing gym, rooftop pool, members lounge and screening room. The space, managed by Soho House & Co., the property won the Urban Land Institute Catalytic Redevelop­ment award in 2016.

Auberge Resorts

Auberge Resorts is an operating company focused on the management of boutique hotels, resorts and private clubs. A consortium of AJCP investors purchased a minority equity interest in the company in 2008 and subsequently sold such equity interest in 2016.

The Raleigh Hotel

Miami, FL

Known as “One of the Grand Dames” of the legendary Art Deco style architecture, this 105-room hotel occupies a prime beachfront location on Collins Avenue in South Beach. The outdoor restaurant and beach oasis further enrich the Raleigh Pool, long considered the best pool in America. The Raleigh Hotel was purchased in 2009 by a consortium of AJCP investors in partnership with a Miami based private equity fund. Two years later, AJCP and its investors sold their stakes to such private equity fund and exited the investment.

Set in the French West Indies amidst enchanting tropical gardens overlooking the sea, each of the 40 rooms, suites and villas are individually decorated with refined European heritage. The hotel heralds a first class poolside restaurant, beachfront restaurant, high-end boutique, a first class spa and fitness room and two main swimming pools. This extraordinary asset was sold to strategic buyer, LVMH Group, becoming a jewel in their illustrious portfolio.

Hotel Lincoln

The 184-room Hotel Lincoln was bought as a shuttered Days Inn and successfully renovated and repositioned, opening to the public in March 2012. Situated in the beautiful Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, the Hotel offers a window into the most dynamic part of Chicago’s North Side and, like the neighborhood, the hotel is historic yet fresh, fun though eccentric and active but relaxed - where the energy of urban life meets 1,200 green acres and Lake Michigan. Hotel Lincoln was sold in 2013; however, AJCP maintained an equity interest and general partner position until the subsequent sale of the hotel in 2016. Hotel Lincoln’s successful redevelopment and repositioning provided the impetus for further investment in Chicago and ultimately inspired many of the core fundamentals found in the creation of Graduate Hotels.
